What is DBC Academy! Our team has placed 1st overall and has brought home scholarships as well as hard-earned first place and first overall trophies from a variety of Dance Competitions. DBC Academy is an award-winning team on a Regional and National level. These auditions are offered to the more serious dancer, who wants to take dancing to the next level. We book 3 competitions in a season, along with conventions and or local performances. This is offered to ages 4-17 years old. Teams are picked by technique only.  Auditions are free of charge and start at beginner (with no experience) - advanced. Dancers must wear all black and perform instructed dance combos in Jazz, Tap, Hip-Hop, Contemporary or Lyrical. Our teams are picked by their individual technique level. 

Mandatory DBC Intensives will be held August 3rd-6th.

HIGH SCHOOL TEAM

We will have a performance group intended for incoming freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors. This performance group is ideal for dancers who have a busy schedule with their high school course load and extracurriculars, including school drill team. These dancers will only need to attend competitive classes one day a week to learn their routines and are asked to take technique and ballet classes on other days of the week that fit into their schedule. These dancers will compete jazz, hip hop, and lyrical/contemporary routines.
